Excess stock

A manufacturer over produces a new range of products which didn't sell as expected:

$5,000,000 of stock was ordered up front and only $2,000,000 sold

Options:

    Take a writedown of $3,000,000
    Dump the stock for no return
    Sell through liquidation channels and run the risk of the product damaging existing or replacement product sales
    Sell at a reduced price and lose money on the transaction
Puffin Trading will purchase the inventory utilising their industry credit system at up to the full value of the 'problem asset'.
We will then remarket the product in an area where it will not compromise existing sales.

The manufacturer is now able to purchase through Puffin all manner of goods and services on a part cash / part credit basis eventually restoring full value to the offending under-performing asset.

Property problems

You have a store / factory / office on lease that is surplus to your requirements for many and varied reasons

You still have a number of years to run on the lease and have already found replacement premises

Not wanting to be out of pocket you forego the opportunity and your business may suffer as a result

Puffin will 'purchase' the lease from you for it's full remaining value using their credit system. You will have swapped the problem asset for an asset you can use to purchase goods and services through Puffin and you will now be able to move to the premises you need to keep your business profitable.
